No offence, but Norton's gives false positives about a lot of things. it likes to look like its doing something, just wait till you get a real virus, it wont have a clue what to do with it.

Last time i ran Norton's on my PC, and got a virus, it wouldn't quarantine it, or delete it or do anything with the file, in fact Norton's didn't have a clue how to deal with it. so i went and got a real virus scanner and dealt with it.

That site doesnt flag anything up for me. and the last time i had a virus was back in 2005.

I know they aren't the best that's why I run multiple programs. What 'real' scanner do you use? I haven't had a virus in ages too but only because I now use only one trusted porn site.

 and that is the key just there. afraid to say it, but most viruses are distributed through porn sites.

Im the same i have a dedicated porn site that i know is safe as old houses. and only streams it as well, so nothing to down load

I used to use mcafee's at one point as it was actually pretty damn good. then went to panda, but found that although it has a faster scan time, did tend to hog resources. i now use Shield Deluxe 2011, as it uses the least system resources, is easy to use, and uninstalls easy as well. very good program to be honest.

I've used AVG for years and never had one, and it even updates itself in background with no impact (noticeable) on rescources

I cant stand AVG, it slows down system start, and does impact online gaming with its constant file scan usage, though not as noticable now with a high end rig as it used to be, i usually put AVG on peoples PC's who ive sorted out viruses for in the past. its good but not as good as some of the paid for ones.

You'll get more issues running multiple antivirus software... as they will fight one another. If thats what you mean of course.
