has anyone had or know anyone that has had plates or pins put in theyr face to help fix a break/fracture.

had a accident last weekend long story short the first aider at work advised me to go to hospital and get checked out(i was getting blurrd vision nausia and headaches ontop of half my face feeling like the dentist jags)

went to hospital and turnd out iv fractured my cheek bone need to go to a specialist to see if i need pins or a plate to help it heel..

ooh sounds painful. Sorry don't know what they'll do.

well thats a funny story i was out with her last night

asked her if she fancyed meeting up and taking the dogs out she agreed and im seeing her again tomorrow happy days

i dont really want to say how it happend kinda embarisin tripped over a kerb with my hands in my pockets my face took pretty much all of the fall

most of the scabing and cuts are away but my face is still pretty much numb from my eye to my mouth

Great news on the girl mate. But that sounds really painful, your lucky you only broke your cheek bone. Could have mashed your nose in as well.

i know could get my hand out fast enough so kinda took evaisive action..it would be so bad if i was drunk or that then that could have an excuse for falling
