300ZX.CO.UK Club Club Overview: June 2010

 

 

 

This document announces the formation of the Nissan 300ZX (Z32 model series) Owner's Club UK.

 

The Club will be known as 300ZX.CO.UK.

 

The primary aim of the Club is to create a forum for sharing knowledge and experiences of the 300ZX.

 

The Club is a non-profit making organization, run by Club members on a voluntary basis for Club members.

 

The Club will have three categories of membership to ensure that everyone can join.

 

The three categories are:

 

1. Member - for 300ZX owners who live in the UK.

2. Enthusiast - for 300ZX fans (non-owners) who live in the UK.

3. Overseas - for enthusiasts and owners who live over seas.

 

The membership fee for Members is £20 for the first year and £10 thereafter for renewed subscriptions.

 

Traders fee is £100 per year and a further £100 for a forum Banner (Optional)

 

For Enthusiast and Overseas category membership is free but registration is required.

 

To get things up and running an initial Committee for the Club has been established at Craig's invitation and request:

Committee Members are selected from the Membership by a Majority vote by the existing Committee.

 

Forum moderators for the 300ZX.CO.UK website will be appointed by the Committee.

 

The Club will obtain its income from three main sources:

 

* Membership subscriptions.

* Trader subscriptions for use of forum.

* Advertising space on forum.

 

The Club's expenditure will fall into three main categories:

 

* The cost of running the club's general activities (overheads) including public liability insurance, printing and stationary, postage etc.

* The cost of maintaining and running the 300ZX.CO.UK website.

* The cost of organizing and running club events.

 

The Club rule book will be published on the forum.

 

It is intended to run the Club based on the following principles:

 

* Membership Cards with club registration number.

* Forum hosted on the 300ZX.CO.UK website.

* Traders areas hosted on 300ZX.CO.UK website.

* Events (track days, static displays, pub meetings, performance days, family days, UK and European trips etc.)

* Member's cars database, with pictures, specs and performance figures.

* Technical Articles and FAQs database.

* Club Discounts on Insurance, parts and services.
