231bhp is it manual or auto? With that milage there cant be much wrong with it, BUT watch for overheating being broken fans and thats about all with them really IIRC

 

Don't assume anything with spec on a BMW, basically you buy the car and get some air inside for free... everything is an optical extra! (IIRC there were at LEAST two types of folding mirrors lol back and up!)

 

To be honest i wouldnt want to take finance on a car, wouldnt want to be paying it off when the car is devaluing! Also, what if you go to buy a house £258 out of your wage will be a big chunk if your trying to afford a mortgage... trusting your not on stupid money of course!

 

Shame about the random M badge.... hopefully it'll come of without making a mark!

nice car though......bit slow for you turbo boys though....0-60 in 6.5.....

I dont think his turbo has ever done better than that though... hehe! 6.5 for the manual and about 7 for the auto I think

i wouldnt get a bmw as everyone were i live drive one, as the the emissions well i can see what yuo mean, but i dont think a bm will be your thang, as for the silver what ever you do , if you buy it , dont paint it half black :nelson:

Never settle for the first car, its like a women , Ride a few before you find the one :dance:

 

Also check what you would have to pay to insure it, m3's are a tad bit pricy

Im only 985 fully comp for that 330ci sport, im 1777 for the m3.lol.

me heart is telling me to stay jap, get a nice turbo like that gt4, sounds like a very nice example had a good chat with the fella on the phone and my pal knows his gt4's well.

but it is compared to an M3, then when ya out on the road and a gt4 or zed pisses all over ya, you will start wishing for the M3, also any newer car feels fast when you have been driving a slowish car anyway, i dive ourlasses clio after driving my asrta diesel and i think ourlasses clio is a flying machine lol

Your right really, i just want somethign quick that runs.lol. But to be truthfully honest would rather a 300zx as i now know abit about them to say the least and what to watch out for.

So at the moment its really just glancing around to see whats available but on the other hand the gt4 is an impressive car been in my friends old one which i was offered before buying my last zed and knocked it back.

But then i have stopped trying to get everywhere quickly and have just been enjoying the driving experience in my cougar to be honest. FWD is not fun but the car still shifts.

There is always going to be something out there that will piss all over you. Theres a starlet in our town with 260bhp and only 2 front seats in it. beats about everything, i personally seen it destroy a 350z 2 days ago.

Craig when it comes to cars you are a nightmare but here is how I see it.

 

If you are thinking about spending £10k plus on a car, the price of the road tax should not be worrying you!! what will you do when it comes to the expensive servicing or a hefty repair bill?

 

Buying something on finance that is only ever go to depreciate is a big no no, you will end up paying £15k for a car you will sell for £5 in a few years.

 

And now for the biggy ...

 

This is a 300zx forum and if you really want a car with style buy Nafs, I know it may have a problem but if you go about it correctly you wont regret it and have a well respected car from the forum !!

Yep...

There is no saga with using patience and listening to the advice you always seek.

Unless you have plenty of spare £££ and loads of time to leave someone to it, then rebuilds are not an option for you.

A gauranteed replacement engine fitted in a couple of days, a drive in drive out scenario if you like is best :)

 

That said in respect of Nafs car though it could turn out to be an absolute bargain ;)
