Another Glencoe run is planned for this year, In June this time. Probably make Fort William a destination this time as well.

Ive put up the poll to work out the best date. Anyone intending to come along please post up the date that suits best, so that I can finalize the date.

I'm here.................lurking in the background.:D

I won't know if I can make the run until midweek I'm afraid. Number three son has a competition on Saturday in Gateshead, It's a last minute thing but I'm trying to get him a lift down there with someone else, so here's hoping.;)

How bad is the wing? if it is only the wing thats damaged I have one you can have to keep you mobile. Its not in the best of nick and has previously been repaired but it will keep you on the road till you can get something else fixed out!

Cheers for the offer Rbert but the bonnet is crumpled. The nearside front wheel is sitting in at the bottom, so im suspecting suspension damage. We went back up yesterday to have a look at it, popped the bonnet and the inner wing has a split in it. The insurance company have arranged with a company in Macmerry to pick it up and have a look at it.

I originally thought it would be written off as an Uneconomical Repair but my mate seems to think it could be fixed. If it cant be fixed, i'll see about buying it back and getting the engine swapped into another one. It's all "if's and but's" just now though.:cry:

got some bad news sorry guys but i cant make this my new gearbox wont be in till the end of the month my mechanic is just to busy to squeeze my car in

Im assuming you'll have your manwell conversion done by then?

The weather is looking pretty bad for this weekend so it may be worth asking round, I can,t do the 20th but might be able to do the 27th!

Just checked the Met office site and they have Sat as being cloudy with sunny intervals. Went back to the BBC site who had it as pissing down, they have now changed to sunny intervals.....wish the fookers will make up their minds.

Im all for keeping this Saturday as the day, but have no problems going with the concensus if the majority of you want to change to a later date!

Only date I cant make is 20th.

Unfortunately, I'm now committed to going down to Gateshead this Saturday :(

Maybe we should have a poll :slap: :nelson: :D

Yes that would make sense, however its not quite as easy as that, some people may have had to arrange this with work and family so its not really fair on them to change it at the last moment just because it might rain on Saturday :). ( It could rain any day we pick, this is Scotland).

Unless everyone who said they were coming posts to say they are ok with changing to the date to the 27th the right thing to do is to run it as planned.

as it stands the now it should be going in the week before that and he says i can pick it back up after 3 days

Now, as much as I would enjoy spending 6 hours in the pissing rain with no views, while following caravans up a dirt track and trying to stop the zed from sliding off the road...................

I agree with Robert about planning and I will still attend.

However, I would also be happy to postpone the run if everyone else is happy to do so.

Changed my mind would rather do it earlier so I am still up for this Saturday.
