The Orient Academy's next official meet will be held on Monday 3rd October, 8pm @ onwards. The meets usually see turnouts of around 60-80 cars and usually 100+ people, all of which are genuine enthusiasts which makes for a friendly, relaxed atmosphere as per any reviews of the meet will tell you. Starting off a few years ago as a honda only meet alot of our members now own FR and AWD cars so there is a constantly growing FR and AWD presence, we strive to show as much of a variety of the japenese car specrum as possible, 'stanced', 'track', 'rat', 'drift', 'grip', 'time attack', 'bosozoku', 'shakotan' etc etc etc, ANY japenese car is welcome. All we ask of a…

Notts Car & Bike Show, Sherbrooke Scout Camp, Calverton NG14 6HP Wednesday 28 Sept 2011. NOTE: this will be the last event for this year. Once again there will be prizes for the Best Club Display, and The Car and the bike the judges would most like to take home. Hold on to your entry ticket for the final prize draw. Remember the nights are drawing in so we will start a little earlier at 5pm for those who can make it. I will have the floodlights switched on so we don’t have to close down too early. Stickyfingers will be there selling hot and cold food and drink. Last months Best club display was won by the Mondeo ST Owners Club, the favourit…

:clap:For all you north wales (and honorary north wales) members:clap:. im sure there will be a lot of talk of this tomorrow evening, but as not all of us will be able to make it, i thought ide open up the subject here. After a bit of a 'debate' about the running of the club in a few post JAE posts it has come to light that there may be some club funding available for each region to aid us in what basically could be classed as 'good times' obviously im not just saying we should ask for a donation to the bar tab lol, but there may be fundage available for the right application, so as a region we should decide what could we do to make the club, and o…

hi guys, anyone local got some brake shoes from a skyline r33 or z32?? needing some for my s14 with rear brake conversion as i've convinced myself the reason they are not locking up is that the shoes have polished themselves and are worn/not taking a bite :( cheers jonny.

Lesley has emailed me asking if we want a Club Stand at this event. Its £8 entry per driver or passenger if booked on a club stand and that’s full entry to the BDC final. All cars in position by 10am on the day. Please can you reply to this if you are attending so I can get this booked? I'll be attending assuming the Saab is working at that point but obviously won't be on a club stand  Jane
