Well guys, The zed is back on the road!!! :hyper: For how long is another matter but fingers crossed my problems are over.. Big thanks to everyone for the help and advice. Manta, I had the battery tested and half the cells were BANJAXED :D Good call on that one. My new alternator belt must have been too loose because that was also Knackered, Thanks Ryan. So i got all the niggles straightened out today and I have to say i'm glad i stuck with it cos i had some laugh driving the 15 miles home with the roof off :nana2: Cheers everyone ...Richie

I've had quite a few phone calls, PM's, and e-mails recently regarding the recent goings on whith the forum. But I have to share this with everybody. I had a phone call today from a member, telling me that the committee is completely out of order, all the membership is entitled to know what's going on, 'Behind the scenes', reason being? "I pay my membership fees, therefore I OWN the club!" Now, anyone who knows me, knows im a fairly reasonable person, if a 'situation' arises on the forum, i'd rather sort it quickly and amicably, rather than blast it all over the forum, but, I am also a guy who wont be pushed around. Went to my cousin's wedding over the weekend, they went a bit OTT with the car hiring... they had a S-Class, 911 Turbo, Bently GT, Ferrarr 360 and a lamborghini murcielago. The lambo completely overshadowed the others with it's presence and engine roar... definately would be the car if would get... anyways, here are some pics.

I have a full screen video on my TiVo about the history of the Nissan Z car series. It's about 700Mb if anyone wants to host it. It's in funny TiVo format, but there is a Windows Media Player plug-in on Sourceforge.net which allows it to be viewed on most systems. Any takers ? as you are aware we thought my head gasket had gone but its worse the engine is twoted taken home on back of AA truck didnt make japfest yesterday takes mrs chavette nova pinked to the hilt may i add to have new mot passes no prob get half mile down rd car fooks up towed home by AA i only joined a week before japfest and have used them twice already best £79 IVE EVER SPENT :p

How do you drive your Zed? I have always believed that the car was designed to be driven hard and used to its full potential so thats the way I have driven it, have taken it on track a few times and quite often give it some serious stick. Although I do keep the car 100% in top condition at no expense spared I have had to spend thousands repairing engine / gearbox. Am I being stupid driving a 15 year old car like this, many people I have spoken to tell me I am so whats your opinion?
