General Discussions - Non 300ZX

I need help lol. I realise (obviously)it isnt a BMW forum, but the ones i asked on were, well, crap. No help at all. Anyhoo My BMW has a trip computer and every time i switch it comes up with a message, "Check control status" then "see owners manual" seeing as i got it from a local garage to fix up, all the books except the one i needed was there:headvswal Anyone know what to do?

Last week as you know we had the funeral of oldgit and I thought seeing as this club were very kind with regards and the flowers you might want to see some pictures of the day. It isnt the norm I spose to take pictures at a funeral but TBH this was no ordinary send off as you will see from the pictures: Outside our houses~: There were well over 100 cars all parked down the middle of the road and along side on the verges. The floral spread at the cremetorium~: There were even more cars at the crem; and they filled all 3 car parks to overfill. Then on the way back to the pub the POLICE kindly made a road block at the accident…

you never see the old cartoons on tv no more, tomand jerry, micky mouse, donald and daffy and so on, they are on sky but not on normal 1-5 channels anymore, wonder why that is??? i hope its not cause of the violence in them

Hi all, I've got two security lights on the house which we switch on/off manually every day by means of a normal switch inside the house. I'd like to set this on a timer but can't do one of those PIR/Dust-till-Dawn jobbies as there is too much ambient light. I was wondering if anyone knows of a 240V 24hr timer which can be hardwired into the electrics. I don't want one of those timers that you stick into a socket - no good for this application. Once upon a long time ago I saw a timer that was the same shape/size as a light switch and could be flush mounted in the wall. Any idea where I might get one of these? ok, am looking to build a box for the boot of my lwb 300 to hold an amp and speaker. i know what size and shape box to make, but need some advise on what amp and speaker to go for. not looking to spend tooooo much but want a nice deep bass. cheers people, :bow: al. :hyper:

Anybody got an old Dell Inspiron 6000 thats laying around broken ? We have one that we use as a spare and it took a wee bit of a knock and the screen is, erm, gubbed !:o My fault !:smw: Just need a screen as its working ok through a spare monitor. Will cover the p&p plus whatever you need for it. New screen comes in at around £75, which aint too bad, but we only use it as a spare, or for when the kids come round ! im turning 30 this year and dont have a pension, im thinking of starting one and dont know where to start, any advise would be appreciated also, ourlass has the option to get back the money from her loyds tsb pension plan, she has been paying into it for just under 2 years and has been offered £1700 back, we could use the money ATM to finish the bathroom, she is also looking into starting a private pension, would it be wise to take the money out or not, would also be worth noting that she is looking at other jobs if she gets o her college course (better pay:D) so the loyds one would be frozen anyway let me know any advice you have cheers Allan

i have nero 8 and its really playing up i have lots of movies clips from a holiday i am trying to edit and cut but it keeps frezzing and comes up "windows c++ runtime ********" and closes the aplication then if i dont edit and go to burn it gets to transcoding with 20 secs to go and just hangs there doing nothing for over an hour now WTF:headvswal

I've been trying to upload some pictures of the new parts I've fitted but it keeps saying my file exceeds my limit and I currently have 1.26mb of attachments. I've never had this before and I deleted loads under the manage attchments option. Any ideas?
