I've never bought anything from pistonheads before but a friend of mine may be interested in a car from there. He has emailed the guy 3 times now (no phone number on advert) without response. Do you have to be registered in any way with pistonheads to reply to their adverts? TIA Rob.

As title. I've got an order for him that he's paid for but don't have his address or contact number, so can't send it. I've pm'd him but he hasn't been online since he paid me two days ago. If anybody knows him could they ask him to contact me? Cheers Dave

After reading some other forums (different car) it seems that they have a different view on what car porn is. I've come to the conclusion that I'm not a real enthusiast. I mean, if someone puts a post up and mentions car porn I take it as it's a nice car with stiripped off, restored to new or modified in a tasteful way. I look at it and think yeah the guys done a good job. I don't look at it and get tempted to bash one out. Are there really people out there that see cars and get sexually excited by them?. Surely that's not right !

Hey all I wnat to loose my active sub and get a good pair of 6.5's in the front that dont need any support from other speakers. I am looking at a pair of JLAudio C5-650X coaxials or Focal 165 K2P component speakers Are these overkill? I want good bass and clear but not harsh treble. I have an Alpine Head unit and a Phoenix Gold Tantrum 400 X 4 amp which will run the pair. What do you think?

:hyper: Might be getting my old supra back :) Its listed on ebay again and its not going to sell for the price he is asking. Thinking about doing a swap for my mr2 turbo. Yes the mr2 is worth a bit more but its needs money spending on it and the supra is a sorted war horse! hello chaps, I have just been given my brothers HTC p3300, unfortunately he was on Orange, and I am on voddafone, I have had it unlocked but can't access the mobile internet service. Vodafone won't give me the internet on it because 'it isn't one of our phones'. Any technical boffins know the settings for vodafone internet? Please help Scotty

Thats not orange branded? I want the data monitor app thats bundled with it but orange left it out cause they are tight gits!

Hi All, I have just bought a 56 plate 9-3 2.8 turbo aero and it has 16000 on the milometer. It was serviced in Sep on a time based service at 14000. I have checked the service indicator and it says over 500 days to next service. I have rang the dealer and he says this is correct and that there are 18000 miles between services. This is a high performance car and I like fresh oil in my engines. Would you recommend an interim oil change or just stick to the service schedule?. I've tried the saab forum but they are keen to look but no comments. I know you good folks on here are far more interactive!. Cheers. Steve.

So i keep on getting these letters from the building society about postal rates yada yada yada i think cause i closed my account with them years ago. So i pops in to tell them to stop mailing me as i dont have an account with them, so the nice lady turn to me and says "But my Davies you do have an account still with us". How happy was i to find an account i had forgotten about even better it had a few grand init :hyper:
