General Discussions - Non 300ZX

After posting my earlier thread I never made it out of the house, 5pm our dog started giving birth. First one needed help, the 2nd and 3rd were quick! Number 4 took a lot work to revive as she wasn't breathing, not sure if she will make it as small and not feeding so we are hand feeding her using a syringe. No. 5 was still born and we couldn't revive here even after a long attempt :cry: Mum was happy, had a sleep and fed the others, then two hours later out popped no.6 to our surprise! So managed an hour kip but now up for the night shift (1.30am) while the wife grabs some sleep, we only had about 4 hours sleep last night as the mum wast restless.

At least it took me a while so must have a life! :biggrin:

Would just like to say a big thankyou to tompie ,who altho has been very busy at work this week and was unable to package and arrange a couriour for my new bumper i bought from him, managed to find the time make a 240+ mile round trip out of his way to personally bring it (instead of re-arranging) to me because he didnt want to let me down with the delivery of it on the arranged day. thats what i call top club spirit :bow: So thankyou tom, ur a star mate.

I'm well aware that many people have private number plates on here, so i'll try and not be too offensive! Recently I've been weighing up whether to get a private plate or not and have been looking at a few possibilities, but mainly M300...??? Trying to upload a video to photobucket but at 47mb its a little big! can you compress it like a jpeg?

At present I have a sky router (wired). I have two feeds coming out of it. One feed to my PS3 in the kitchen / dinner and one running upstairs to the guest bedroom where it goes into a netgear hub. This hub them supplies my two PC's. I'm looking to change the sky router over to a wireless netgear router. I purchased a Netgear DG834G v5 Wireless-G ADSL Modem Router from ebuyer but it's just not playing ball. Tried to set it up as recommended but I'm getting a red internet light on the router the other lights are green. Anyone switched from Sky wired to a wireless of some sort and can give me some tips.

I just had a mate swap a starter motor, and the ignition switch on my old scirocco as it wouldn't start off the key. He just buzzed me to say that we could have saved £60 and a lot of time by turning the imoboliser off!!!!! What a numpty!:oops:

You know I've been offered a new job, within the hospital, as a healthcare assistant rather than as a medical secretary? Had an offer of a job, which is subject to references and CRB etc. The letter says my new manager will confirm my start date and salary. Been told verbally that the start date is 1st December,the salary will be the same as I am on, because the job is a grade lower than my current one, so they will mediquate it to the same money although again only been told this verbally. just got rid of a really bad virus on the pc its called windows think point it is really horrible cant do anything real pain in the rectum to remove as well so just watch out
