Just to keep all you guys informed, and first may I thank those who sent thier kind words after my run-in with the annonymous, baseball cap wearing, nova driving gimp!! Its not good news, after a week at the insurance companies approved repairer, an independent engineer has decided that the damage to my car was not the result of an accident, and is refusing to authorize any repairs. He has said that because i tried to replace the suspension items i though were damaged, before i realised the severity of the damage, he has deemed it an old injury, and refuses to authorize the go ahead. To add insult to injury, he said the car is only worth scrap and has informed my insuranc…

A button that allows you to print off thepage you are looking at in a particular thread. Some times info is great but you need it printed out in frontof you when you are doing that job on the car. Easy enough to pront it off, but when a thread runs out to 9 or 10 pages and what you want is only on one particular page then it can be a pain. Havent the faintest how easy or not this is to do as I aint no IT bod. Just a thought Nick

Just a quick update; The temp needle was sitting just below half way on the temp gauge (obviously!!) unlike before I removed the engine 'blanket' the needle on the temp gauge was just over the middle...... So in conclusion; Blanket on = Hotter running engine Blanket off = Cooler running engine  Seems that the blanket must hold alot of heat in.......plus the weather has been warmer today than most other times I've taken the Z out so far this year. Matty.

I did 140 the other day but bottled out for fear of losing my licence (I live in North Wales!). The car felt like it would have carried on to 160mph+. I'm running 14psi boost which helps a little:cool: What's the fastest you've been in your cars?

I saw the re-made version of the George Romero classic Dawn of the Dead at the weekend, now I'm a big fan of the original so I was thinking it was going to be a poor rip-off, god was I wrong! The idea behind the films was the same but they were quite different, I was particularly impressed that they didn't flinch from showing all the nasty bits :D I think the BBFC should pack up and go home, after letting them show the scene on the bus, I don't think there is anything which is more brutal that is taboo anymore, at least I can't think of anything! If your into your horror I can well recommend it. Did anyone else spot the cameo's by the original cast BTW?

People seem to enjoy these days so I am trying to gain interest for one in the North West. I have found a place in Preston and I am enquiring whether they are able to do it. Is any one interested? If so can you post your interest so when I get a reply to my email, I can say so far we have so many interested. Like I said, its in Preston which is alot closer than Thor and SE for the Northern lot. ;) I have no information on price yet or of their dyno system, but they do seem to specialise in rallying cars. Who's interested? Stuart, P.S. This is not just a Northern only RR day, any one who can get there can go. :D

Just bought another 300zx TT that was advertised as having a knacked autobox, my red zed has a knacked engine so I was going to take the auto box off mine and put in the blue one. The blue one has done less than 40k miles, but needs a good service & MOT as the guy had it in his garage for the last nine months and the HICAS warning light is on. Oh and the body has some paint bubbling on it The problem with it was the autobox wouldn't get out of first gear, we did the deal and then I took it for a spin. sure enough it wouldn't come out of first gear, until that was I switched off the hold button!!!!! :D The gearbox is totally pukka & I drove it 120mil…
