Having recently had my 99 Spec front fitted and a new front no plate from http://www.fancyplates.com I was wondering who's done this and had hassle from plod? Be interesting to see if certain regional forces are more tolerant than others... Me, based in Croydon, travel all around the South East (Kent, Sussex, Surrey) and not had a pull yet. Vote away.. Steve :)

Hi guys! When I moved from Marbella to the UK back in late 2000 (why, why, why, why, oh why did I ever move .... :slap: had an apartment on a golf course, a Ferrari 355 Spyder in the garage and a beffy of Scandinavian women at my beckon call ... :x: ) I had about 4 cubic meters worth of stuff boxed up and stored at my apartment in Holland. Now that I've moved into a bigger house I've got space to put those things and intend to drive to Holland over New Year's and bring it all back. Problem: I can't find a van rental place that doesn't charge the cost of a trip on the Space Shuttle. Basically, I need a small van (ie Vauxhall Vivaro, Renault Trafic, Merc Vito, etc…

Waz just going through some old photos and spotted this one of my old peni$ extension Jag. She was a 4.0- very comfy and very quick- just a bit scary when you feel her start to slide at 90mph as I once found out! Wouldnt mind a V8 one day. Anyone else a fan of the Vinny Jones machine? Send me your pics.

My cars been on mig tips for about 3 years now & i'm very happy, no det' or coughing & spluttering, even changed sizes for rolling road/track days etc. But in my strict monthly maintenance shedule i remove them & give 'em a blow through with an air line, at the same time last month I thought to put back in "off the shelf" the 1mm ones........ I had a set of my std mig tips measured on a shadowgraph. The tolerance the company's allow for mig welding wire, is shall we say questionable. Plus there a bit fiddly. So i've had these made for my car. A decent lenth to work with. A ctr witness mark to see when its 1/2 way in. Overbore to actual re…

Does anybody have an apprentice under their wing at work ?? I have just been given a young laddie, jeez, he is so thick. I know we all have to start somewhere and I am all for passing on any knoweledge I may have, but this lad has made it clear that he is not interested. :mac1: Really tight bolt on a 40 tonne trailer shocky, and as we were fitting new shocky`s, remarked to him that we would need the "hot spanner" to loosen the bolt. Hot spanner being the oxy/acetylene burning gear !! Went to the office to deal with a customer and came back to find my 34mm combination spanner in the vice glowing cherry red !! Asked him what the fook he was doing, …
