We spent £10 getting in (which was quite good for a whole day, but....), then the autobox failed on trying to park it!! We then went for an expensive couple of coffees. Then watched (and supported) our lads in the Tug-'O-War.................... Then it p155ed it down!!!! :( which meant that I hadn't got around to taking any photos  On the plus side, we met some new faces and had a laugh ;) I was also thinking that our pitch was a bit out of the way, but considering if the sun had been …

Some of you know as we chatted about the shuddering my ZED that has developed? Well on the way home from JAE it got worse. It felt like it was starting to come up through the sterring wheel and I drove home in a cautious manner. I will get it booked in to a local garage the bloke runs a nice Skyline and he knows he's way round ZED's.

Have just rejoined the realm of the Zed-less. Wife phoned at 2 o'clock this morning to tell me she had just sold my backup Zed (alias the starship Enterprise because of the mileage). Would have brought them to Canada with me if it wasn't for the regulation preventing it. Perhaps one day when I've learnt to drive on snow I'll get another one. In the meantime I've had to become Subaru man, but without the chest wig. Should give me a sporting chance of surviving the winter here plus an even better chnage of not going bankrupt due to speeding tickets. After a couple of months here I shall never complain about the UK police going after motorists for profit again.

"Oil giant Royal Dutch Shell unveiled half-year profits of £5.84 billion, as it posted its first results as a unified company. The figure - equivalent to £1.3 million an hour - mirrors the profits of rival BP earlier this week, which established a new record for a UK company." I should think most of that is from sales of Optimax to Zed owners !!!!
