i know you like it. but that front venting, just doesn't flow with the car. it looks like its trying to go forward while the rest of the styling is going back. does that make sense?

Would a fiat punto turbo, supposedly done up to the nines. beat a 300zx twin turbo? i know its lighter. but from what I've seen so far. the top BHP for the punto is around 450BHP at stage 2 obviously weight is going to play a major factor too on this one.

obviously you get all the main parts from the same car. then its just color matching the bits you have to spray with the parts you have. could be doable would depend on your color matching ability. plus you would have to use a compressor and airgun, or you're not going to be able to mix the paint to achieve the 15 year faded look.

I want pictures of the results, and send me a PM with some tips lol if not, ill have to come kidnap you and force you into respraying mine or ill set the gerbils on you lol anyway, £300+ is cheaper than a full respray at a body shop ;) personally i thought it was a blinding idea, anyone breaking a bay side blue 2+2 near me? lol

Baz, i was just sitting here thinking about doing what your going to do, and take my time to respray my car my self. with patents and that, it could really come off well. and that got me thinking....(no smoke yet) Considering the Zed is mainly bolt together. wouldn't it just be easier if you found a white zed that's being broken, or spare or repair. with really good body work. and swap the following parts Bonnet wings doors bootlid front bumper rear bumper Targas this would leave the windscreen pillars and top bars, the sills and rear quarter panels, and the rear of the car that needed respraying. then its just a case of experimenting to see if you can get a color match for the rest. and give you a lot less car to respray. Just a thought. And you might even find it easier to go black, as a color match is a lot less noticeable and the bigger areas already have a good finish.

that looks a lot better. chrome when the rest of the car is black, just doesn't seem to mix well. another color and id probably say yes go for it.

tbh it doesn't matter what us lot think, its what you think that counts its your car after all. i could go out and do that silly mod of putting 15 zorst pipes on the back of mine if i thought it looked ok, sod what others have to say lol. not that i would mind you, im just saying.... Personally when i go for a front bumper, i want the one silverbullet has on his. i love it and think it looks really good. only thing i dont like on it. is the side "wings" its got.

First, pictures..... you should know you cant say "ive put my alloys on" without providing pictures, we are picture whores here and love to see new stuff stuck to your motor. Second, still get it checked out. it might of stopped knocking, but doesn't mean the problem isn't still there. worth getting anything to do with suspension knocking checked out. last thing your going to need is a part of that falling off while driving and smashing your alloy or car body apart. needless to say about losing control of the car as well. Tis always best to air on the side of caution.

i do like the interior of that car. the cream theme is done well. just one thing bugs me about that video, near the end the guy gets into the car with the camera, and shows the dash cluster. its showing a N/A clock set. yet on the dash he has 3 pods? He also has Recaro as a sticker on the side, yet hes got bog standard seats in it. did Recaro do the seats for the 300zx? On to the wheels, i looked at some from that guy on EBay, on the website he states that he will ship them to your chosen port and you have to arrange delivery from there. did you have to do this is was it direct to your door?

i must be blind, no illumination of the pods. when the lights are on. but the dash lights up. so when it stops raining, suppose im going to be taking the foot well apart :blink:

I just like helping people matey, cant help it, its in my nature. was a bugger to get my business up and running i tell you lol. had to get out of the mind set of doing PC's for a coffee and start to charge. but mechanics i love it, annoyingly you need paper work to prove you can do it to get a job in that field of work, just never found the time to go get that paper work. so just keep it as a spare time thing. Hopefully ill get my car sorted out pritty soon, and once done as i said. ill give you a PM and we can arrange something. just a cuppa coffee and a conversation when doing it and ill be fine. but if you can get it done in the mean time go for it. but the offer will still be there once my car is road worthy.

Well once my car is on the road, ill give you a PM find out what stage your at, if no work has been done and you can supply the engine hoist. ill come do you an engine swap, all it will cost is a cuppa coffee and some conversation hows that sound? and you can lend a hand when i need a socket handed to me. plus you can over see the work and make sure its done to a high standard. cant say fairer than that.
