  4. After getting up @ 9am it was a leisurely breakfast of fresh orange juice and coffee and hot croissants. Then opened all me prezzies with a glass or two of sherry and a mince pie or three. :duffer: Walked the dog and then it was lunchtime - a nice juicy fillet steak, cabbage done in mulled wine and roast potatoes. All washed down with a nice bottle of red. :duffer: A short break and it was time for chocolate pudding with a bottle of Ice Wine. :duffer: Watched Monsters Inc. and then took the dog out again. Came back and played darts with a beer or two. :duffer: The missus is now watching The Street so i'm having a wee surf and a natter on MSN to my mate in Canada. Kids are back tomorrow so another Christmas Day of sorts to be had  Merry Christmas to you all and all the very best for 2007 :duffer:

  6. Got 4 of our neighbours coming around. Gonna have some mulled wine and then lots of fine local ales, accompanied by bowlfuls of snacks and nibbles of various types and flavours. And then we'll be playing this.................
  7. Good stuff - I saw this shuttle in October when I was on holiday in Florida - the doors to the VAB were open as we drove past. Also saw the crawler being tested that took it to the launchpad.
  8. Merry Christmas everyone :duffer: :duffer:

  12. Alan..................there's a bottle of Bruichladdich here for ya. Be quick tho' I'm beginning to enjoy it.
  13. Aye - there's always plenty of wives about  :wack: Just had a phone call - she's go to work safely
  14. By the wife  It's -5 degrees, frosty, icy and a bit foggy as well. I've gotta go to Lincs today (Nr Skeggy) to deliver Xmas prezzies and also pick up a large widescreen TV so I couldn't use the Zed. Gonna be worried all day..........................about the wife of course
  15. Saw that about a year ago - there is some debate as to wether or not they are farmers as the vehicle on the extreme left has a hot "Chimney" style exhaust which could indicate that it is a tractor. The Apache's gun was "slaved" to the Pilot's helmet so wherever he looked the gun followed. If you thought that was impressive, wait until you see what Flechettes can do
  16. Sounds good - but a restaurant??? - what's wrong with a BBQ and lashings of ale :duffer: :duffer: Don't forget yer mountain bikes for a good ol' 40 mile bike ride :D :D
  17.  Apparantly we're also going down the pub on Christmas day :duffer: Yeah we'll have - perhaps a camping trip eh???? :duffer:
  18. Dammit - you've sussed me out  We can always get more curry in if you fancy popping down - plenty of Stella in the fridge :duffer: :duffer:
  19. This year, as the kids are at their dads, me and Mrs A wll have few beers down town then home with a curry (which'll be our Xmas Day dinner :D ). A few more beverages will be consumed at home then we'll put out a mince pie and a drink for Santa ;) and then off to the land of nod so the big fella in the red suit can get on and do his stuff :) Apparantly I've been a really good boy this year and Santa is feeling very generous
  20. I only only have one as well

    Is it a cunning plan????
  23. Glad you're Ok but gutted to hear that another Top Zed looks like it's bitten the dust. Been looking at this car all month as well, as it's December's car on the calender. Hope there's someway you can get to keep her and get her back on the road.
  24. My local Morrison's is good..................probably 'coz old Ken Morrison himself only lives about 7 miles away :)
  25. As it's the Festive season I've dug out "Christmas Album" by The Yobs - C-H-R-I-S-T-M-A-S is fookin funny as is The Twelve Days of Christmas and their reggae version of White Christmas
