  1. not so sure about ordering from usa, postage seems to be a bump from that lot. but lemme double check. im waiting for dta to get back to me with a price.
  2. i do have an aftermarket steering wheel but my cruise control was disconnected when i bought the car and god knows how to reinstall it so i wont bother. Thanks anyway :)
  3. sorry why do i need that? did you post the wrong link im confused?
  4. Sorry didnt see that part, but thats one of the reasons why people do a runner. i know i wouldnt wanna pay up for whiplash unless i knew it was genuine like your girlfriend. Anyway you cant get away with driving uninsured now coz its all computer logged and number plates are logged automatically by police cars, cams etc. they cam tell if you have ever been arrested, your mot is out or when you last picked your nose.
  5. very chuffed... i also got my new passenger mirror from lisa and fitted it and it works, my old one was glued on and didnt move at all. poly bush tie rods fitted and fog light now working. wishbone all better and just gave it a clean, waiting for fixed wheel to arrive.
  6. i now have cold air and the aircon is working which gave me a big surprise.
  7. I just manges to locate them before you sent this so im happy but thanks anyway andy, they were indeed disconnected. The previous owner must have done a big bodge and forgoten to connect them. alone with other things.
  8. i cant seem to find where the air mix motors are situated? taken out the glove box looked around but no luck.
  9. yeah i agree this kinda attitude stinks, its only a peace of metal at the end of the day, you dont need to take everything the guys worth just over a nudge. im sure loads of us have bumped someone over all our years of driving.
  10. Thats what i said could just be vacume loose or maybe an intercooler broken as i saw a previous post where the same thing was occuring and it turned out to be the intercooler damaged. but he could hear a whistle noise dont know if this guy can tho. but seen as the trader has dropped the price that much it probably is a siezed turbo but best to just check minor things first.
  11. i just read this whole thread and realised its 3 years old damn it...
  12. il be going to watch that next week. :)
  13. nice. ok i looked at the website and they are $60 but doesnt show postage there. Does danny@dta have similar ones to these? you wouldnt happen to know the price and postage?
  14. thanks legrath think il go with the specialtyz ones seen as they have your seal of approval. i thought they had to be poly instead of solid to reduce noise but you say they do the job just fine. bag em il hav em. You didnt have to remove the subframe for these right? i read that it should only take about 30 mins? are these the easy fitting ones?
  15. they are not the ones im looking for. im looking for the collars that lock up the subframe making it more solid, you dont have to take off the subframe but just lower it a touch to slide the collars in.....
  16. well theres your answer mickey ;) these guys know their 300's
  17. read a bit on these but where can i buy some that are not solid but the rubber poly type so i dont have to take off the subframe?
  18. if its siezed it should feel like the exhaust is blocked see if theres any air coming out of the exhausts put your hand over both then u can see which one is poopendaffed:). anyway u wont wanna buy a zed with blown turbos anyhow :)
  19. not safety boost. a pipe or something has come off or there is a serious leak. look around the intercoolers also.

  22. Whats involved with fitting these seat covers? is it a simple case of just putting them over the top or does it involve lots of stiching?
