  1. Just out of interest, why are they for the SWB? As far as I was aware the doors are the same on the two models?
  2. Since were now onto the 370z its probably about time we had a little 350z section opened as a suggestion? Quite often members move onto the "next one" in the product line - I know when I had my M3 I was on a site called e36coupe.com (well still am but not as much now!) which became BMWowner, not suggesting a name change but they had sections for other series of BMW's for light discussion - Rather than alienating potential members! BTW, nice car! Have a bit of a thing for yellow cars, allthough managment would never allow such a thing!
  3. Very impressive mate! Glad you've got over the lag youve had for last few months with your NA ;) hehe
  4. Welcome fellas! Good to have you on the list :)
  5. Plus you don't want a signal exit, for performance it's bad and for aesthetics it's worse. Singles look crap on a car with twin exhausts ducts. My first one came with a single exit and it looks bloody awful! So soon swapped it for a twin quad tail pipe scorpion system, lovely jubly!
  6. I would say the car in question is a swb as the fuel tanks are in front of the rear axel on a swb hence why the fuel cap moves forward. And they have a much deeper boot.
  7. Yeah and come and get these dam seats hehe :p
  8. Hmm still a sexy wheel! What sizes are they? :-) not totally put off lol
  9. Looking good! I do very much like those wheels, did you say they were spares ;) If you come to sell Id be interested!
  10. 23, 4 years NCB 5k miles a year and i pay £670, only 3rd party fire and theft though!
  11. All good work mate, lets hope it stars eh! :)
  12. Series 4 here with no standard boost gauge, as Legrath said cost savings - later cars although newer do suffer from Nissan misering!
  13. its a popular upgrade i believe, and you end up with a top speed about 20mph less than the TT diff, not that it makes that much difference in top end but would certainly make acceleration snappier! They are both LSD.
  14. Bearing a few things in mind from most of the points above you cannot say wether the car started life as a TT or an NA. The gearboxes are the same apart from the bellhousing is a little different but the internals are the same. The only different is the NA rear end (which is very desirable as it makes the car alot faster), so if had an NA rear end, brilliant! The Brakes are the same on almost all cars, although earlier NA's 89-91 (IIRC) did have slightly narrower disks although only by 2mm 94+ TT's did NOT have a boost gauge (mine on a 95 doesnt, although I believe the 99 cars got it back again) The best way to tell if a car started out life as a TT or not is of course from its vin plate, if your still not sure ONLY turbos had HICAS (although I admit most have had it disabled few have had the actual hardware removed) Also you can never rely on the stock gauges to be accurate for revs or speed... Having said that, a butchered loom doesnt look good and unless there is good reason that can be explained by the owner then its probably not a good sign... Lastly! Now I know why that car hasnt been sold! :D
  15. Looks nice, quite rare in silver i think for a GSI? Maybe not! Always had a bit of a softspot for this shape of vectra, got knows why as ive never had one! LOL I love the detail of the bonnet becoming the wing mirrors, nice!
  16. You'll just have to spam some more now ;) lol
  17. Some info there mate! Good luck this weekend, just hope it all goes well! http://www.thumper300zx.com/z32/profecb2/profecb.htm
  18. I would have the logo in the same colour as the seats, so it didnt actually stand out. It was simply some stitching detail and was nice and subtle. That doesnt seem a bad price at all. £400 or so for new leather seats basically, do they do the door cards and other bits?
  19. THey look good actually, I take it that its the skin and you have it fitted by an upholsterer or something?
  20. Cheers dude! LOL 1. Fine, how come there are two connectors though? 2. Will look into that, det sensor important! 3. Ah right, if this wasnt working properly would it cause slow starting when the car is warm? As in seems to have to turn over for a while before catching? 4. Good! 5. Both ends of the pipe are connected its just split where you see in the picture, im just interested as to what it might bec ausing the car to do? I need to get some hose to replace it but I might just try bodging it with tape tonight and see how the car reacts! Sorry i really know nothing, would that pipe be under vacuum or pressure? It does go to the intake pipe near the radiator.
  21. Just been to my local tame mechanic to ask about some suspension bits. ANyway, the last few days the car has been juddery at light throttle applications and lower revs so I was thinking TPS, sure enough popped the bonnet and the spring clip holding it on has disapared so its loose. Anyway it was pissing me off today so I thought i'll disconnect it and much to my suprise it made no difference. So I got home and began to have a proper poke around Bearing in mind the car drives just the same as it ever has above 3000rpm and even below if youve got a heavy foot, just tickling the throttle gives this juddering. Okay so picture time, firstly On this picture there are two connectors, one into the tps and there is another grey one with a wire into the tps as well, what do both of these do? And then this picture, what is this connector for that isnt plugged into anything?? I assume the box attached to the inner wing is to do with my adjustable FPR? if not what does it do and why does it have a vacuum feed? :s Just to clarfiy, this is connector (one on each side the same that are disconnected) is for the stock boost solenoid? And then last but not least, this vacuum hose appears to go from the main boost pipe up to a tee piece to do with my EBC... its had a bit of an accident and has become cut inhalf some how, no idea how as i've never touched anything in the engine bay on this, it looks like its been done some time though. Obviously this cant be good!
  22. Thought so! I do remember the car, mine could well be just out of shot to the left LOL
  23. LOL 15 or 20 dodgy looking characters crowded around, its like one of those awkward brothels for automotive pornography! Looks nice actually, although its along way from the original!
  24. Is that last picture at japfest??
  25. I do love the fact that these old cars can still waste most stuff.... Had a brand new 10 plate civic type R up my backside down the bypass tonight, dropped a cog down to 4th and GONE. I would be heart broken to be honest, mines even quite new. I'd love one on an F plate, looks old but would be dam funny pulling away from a "fast" car thats 20 odd years younger!
