  1. Oh for the love of god, they would have to be paying me that much to take one away! A chevrolet what? List price is 13,500 anyway. I would just buy a proper car....
  2. I think were all trying to keep that flag flying! Weird thing from the video, I was always under the impression that the 240z was the quickest of the S30's, yet that 260z clearly spanked it, and nearly took the 350z!
  3. I did wonder when you might pipe up ;)
  4. I think blackpool-z32 is looking at an NA, as apposed to a TT so it will be slower than a 350z... In the top gear races, the Z32 that won both was a TT.
  5. It wont start when its cold? LOL

Sounds great! My ideal job! :D Never lucky enough to find something like that though. Congrats mate!
  7. Welcome mate, nice to have another northwest member! Get some pictures up
  8. Saw you turning right towards astley I think. Nice to see a zed on the road!
  9. Jap specs yes, UK's had 245... The issue with stretch is: It looks gay Its very very dangerous Its illegal It looks shit The police will rape you for it You will make your insurance invalid Stretch really is for bummers who want to be "scene" You can easily scrape your wheels It makes cars handle crap Finally, did I mention? It looks absolutly **** :D Hope this clears things up ;)
  10. bargain for £300!
  11. I have a profec B spec II fitted to my car, I will be honest I've never been happy with it. Im sure its the way its set up but it does just seem a bit laggy when I have it switched on. I was actually thinking about returning the "plumbing" and solenoids back to stock and seeing what it was like. If I turn it of, it boosts to 0.6 bar is just lovely, progressive and consistant. With the EBC on, low is 0.5 (never understood why you want to turn it down??!) and 1.0 (ish, just less actually) if you plant your foot in first the solenoid is fairly slow to react so you get a "lunge" as its messing about trying to control the boost... very un-stock! Is it easy for me to change between the original and aftermarket system (I didnt fit it) so I can compare and contrast?

You can go off people you know ;)
  13. That sounds awesome! Cracking litle video well done :D Much engine mods? Seems to handle like its on rails!
  14. As if by magic, piston heads heros feature :) I had a friend who had a 1.6gti, had alot of work done to it though and used it as a road rally car, he sold it to another friend of ours who had it 3 months and sold it on. It crops up from time to time and each time its the same story... "wish I'd never sold it!" http://www.pistonheads.co.uk/doc.asp?c=161&i=23392
  15. So they stole a £500 escort from you? And you went looking for it?! Sounds like they tried to do you a favor! :D Patch it up, throw it on fleabay. Get something interesting!
  16. Almost certainly a sensor issue, getting it hooked up to a copy of conzult would probably help identify the issue (s ) If it won't run properly, could be worth checking the temperature sensors at the front of the engine on the water pipes. Throttle position sensor perhaps? Often boost leaks and vacuum leaks can cause poor running I know you have found one boost leak, but there is so many vacuum hoses and all that on these cars that finding them all can be difficult! There is an Idle control valve which can get sticky i believe and would cause poor running at tickover, but I;d be suprised if it does when driving. Some more information would probably help too, or a video/sound clip of the problem. Is the car warm or cold when its doing this? Does the problem stop when its warm? Any smoke? If so colour/smell/quantity? Auto or Manual? Any modifications (chip, dump valves, boost controllers etc) I'm assuming its LWB?
  17. "Terribly sorry, Charles". "How many cars have we got left?" "A couple"..... Very impressive!

You must have sort of family wagon at the minute.... ;) As you can see there has been an overwhelming response to this...!
  19. Very obvious, but the rear trim, and boot trim are very different, as is the tail gate! Prop shaft obviously shorter... I believe the targas from a SWB wont fit a LWB properly... etc
  20. Nope should have the "table top" spoiler... like mine! Also should have a red nose badge to be picky... And the seat belts should be on the B pillar, rather than on the door which yours look like they are. Other than looks a nice looking NA! :) 99 Spec rear lights really do look so much better, I must get some for mine!
  21. lol quite a price reduction, id be asking to buy just the tyres... they might be worth £50 for all 4
  22. Ahh! Dam one of the few times to have wished to be in basingstoke!
  23. I doubt it, dont think his is out on the road yet this year. Also along way from home. Could be wrong though :)
  24. What a load of shit... lol some people are clinically insane! Even got shit tyres!
  25. I thought it turned out well! Considering the shit were in (thank you labour), of course it makes the tories look bad because they have to cut back on the wild spending and make unpopular but completly required cuts! 1p a litre reduction, its not much but all helps and a rise in the amount you can earn before income tax applies, brilliant! Also help for first time buyers, its good but it doesnt actually help first time buyers that have managed to save enough deposit (like me!) which is a shame, as I would have liked some help!
