Guest Van Posted July 1, 2002 Posted July 1, 2002 Thanks to Geoff for sorting out my Zed after a local garage screwed up- or rather NOT screwed the screws and crack shaft pulley nut tight. The car was making some weird noises after I got it back home from my local garage and was very pissed off. I thought they screwed it up major and was almost in tears. First port of call was Geoff. He did not disappoint me apart from informing me my brake pads need replacing soon....I thought they were fine but....oh well. The car sounds great again so cheers Geoff. Laterz, Van Quote
Clarkey Posted July 1, 2002 Posted July 1, 2002 JEff sounds like a top chap, seriously considering taking our 300 beast in for him to work his magic on it and make it nice ------------------ Quote
Guest Van Posted July 1, 2002 Posted July 1, 2002 I would have taken it to him last time if I could. The trouble was it would have taken me three hours to do the 30 mile trip 'cause one of the outlet hoses as loose and spat out water when coulsd and steam when hot. Eventually the coolant would have all gone and so I would have to stop the car, let it cool down for 1 hour, pour in more water and repeat as necessary until I got to Geoff's. That would have taken time too as I couldn't find Zedworld when I was on the Drayton Lane-it's well hidden (unintentionally I think)....Geoff, you need a bigger sign m8...well I suppose at least no one would know there're some nice cars to nick so it's an advantage I guess. Well, I gave my local garage a good telling off and they DID apologize so that's something. Hopefully they will be more careful with finishing the job properly on other cars next time...cause I won't be taking my car there again if I can help it. Laterz, Van Quote
b19rks Posted July 2, 2002 Posted July 2, 2002 Van, Look left, look right, look left again! ( I was in the red Z pulling in as you pulled out!) Quote
Guest Van Posted July 2, 2002 Posted July 2, 2002 Nice to see you b19rks m8. I couldn't see a thing from the right and besides I was to busy admiring your Z. Very shiny...pity it rained and your Z probably needs another wash ;-). Mine being grey doesn't show up the dirt as much which is an advantage when it comes to washing. I couldn't see traffic approaching from the right until I had blocked half of it up so... Laterz, van Quote
DTA (UK) Posted July 2, 2002 Posted July 2, 2002 Just a casual observation but ... the good man's name is actually Jeff. I'm sure he doesn't though ... D Quote
