SRRAE Posted November 17, 2006 Posted November 17, 2006 http://www.scan.co.uk/Products/ProductInfo.asp?WebProductID=228615 I have one of these. Reasons I think they are great Moduel lay out, so you can add just the right amount of cables you need. No spare sockets floppying around your case. Looks great, nice looking blue ironised case, with blue LED light (which may not be to every ones fancy) Quite quiet. Not the most quiet you can get, but one of the quietest for the power output. The fan stays on for about 5 mins after turning off the power to disperse the heat still inside the box ( Little like a turbo timer ) All cables are shielded and have EZ grip connectors. Comes in a toolbox like box which is handy for keeping other computer parts in. Quote
krsmayo Posted November 17, 2006 Posted November 17, 2006 i have a thermatake one and it's really quiet abd has good connectors a and cables Quote
SRRAE Posted November 17, 2006 Posted November 17, 2006 You can actually get fan less ones, but they are large, expensive and because they way they work, they will cause the heat inside your computer to rise. Personally the fanless ones are only good if you have a water cooling system for the rest of the computer. Quote
edk83 Posted November 19, 2006 Posted November 19, 2006 just get one with a 120mm fan, they are almost silent, with power supplies you generally get what you pay for, the more you spend the better it will be so you want a high end one if your going sli Quote
Bassologist Posted November 19, 2006 Posted November 19, 2006 Ive got the Hiper 580 watt .. i run SLI with no probs and its pretty silent ... the cabling is superb too Quote
