My arial i swear used to work before i took engine out im sure it did but hey it ant anymore .ive checked all the connections so before ibuy a new one i wonderd if there was a easy way of checking .like unpluging it and running a live wire from the battery across it.?

I guess you've checked the fuse... (other wise lots of other things wouldn't work either)

 

there is an earth point behind the radio, if that is loose it will cause issues with the aerial.

 

I think the FSM has a wiring diagram and method to check.

Checked the fuses and whilst there foud that the centrall door loocking fuse shares the same ome as the interia lights. At least thats a nother job done.

Also the earth wires two behind the rad.it all seems to want to work.even when you turn the radil on you get a noise from a relay humming fo a few secs them nothing.
