Thinking about buying a portable desktop hard drive and was wondering if people had any recommendations? Not sure if they're all more or less on a par? I'm currently in a position where I need to back up the entire contents of my computer so the drive needs to be 300Gb minimum. A good friend of mine could do this for me but I've recently thought that I could use the flexibility of being able to transport very large Cubase compositions backwards and forwards between my humble home studio set-up and the proper recording studio. So, what would people recommend and where would be best to go looking for them? Looking to buy as soon as possible...er...if possible! :)

Sold my Astra Coupe last week and ive just picked up an '04 Vectra 2.2DTi Elite. Doing about 20k miles a year just getting to work so it makes more sense. Im actually quite impressed with it. Its not as sluggish as i thought it would be and the standard equipment in the elite is very good. Also got leather seats so its very very comfortable to drive.. :hyper: Here's a piccy

Thinking of going down the 'family car' route, but still want something with enough power to scare me when i need it to! Anyone had any experience of either of these cars? I'm swaying towards the legacy at the moment, purely because i can get a newer one for less than the galant & the galant is very rare in manual form. Galant is 1996>> model Legacy is 1998>> model

A friend of the Mrs meets her outside school everyday to pick up the kids, and she's always saying how much her 10 year old loves my z, anytime he sees it in the village he get's pretty excited lol (we were all 10 once remember). Just heard yesterday he's getting a bit of bullying , nothing serious, but I believe he's a very soft and quiet kid. so today at 3 o'clock after getting the ok with his mum i pulled up in a big shiny red Z right at the school gates. You should have seen his face when i told him i was taking him home, priceless lol :D A few of the kids were shouting something a him, he just turned gave them the finger an…

UN - Fookin Believable!!! The world-famous Red Arrows have been banned from appearing at the 2012 London Olympics because they are deemed "too British". Organisers of the event say that the Arrows military background might be "offensive" to other countries taking part in the Games. The display team have performed at more than 4000 events worldwide, but the Department of Culture, Media and Sport have deemed the display team "too militaristically British". Red Arrows pilots were said to be "outraged", as they had hoped to put on a truly world class display for the Games, something which had never been seen before. Being axed from a British-based event fo…

Somebody sent me this today... Being a Police Officer in the UK Question: How do you tell the difference between a British Police Officer an Australian Police Officer and an American Police Officer? Answer: Pose the following question: You're walking down a deserted street with your wife and two small children. Suddenly, a dangerous looking man with a huge knife comes around the corner, locks eyes with you, screams obscenities, raises the knife, and charges. You are carrying a Glock .40, and you are an expert shot. You have mere seconds before he reaches you and y…

This will get some of you fuming means we are gonna get the police running round with sound meters "Boy racers have until next July to get rid of modified exhaust pipes on their cars, under an EU directive on noise pollution. The law which comes into effect next year will ban the exhausts as part of a range of measures aimed at reducing noise emissions. But it's not yet clear how the government will enforce the rule, or whether drivers could face fines for having enlarged exhaust pipes. Fine Gael MEP Jim Higgins says it should be made part of the NCT test." this is where the :xxx: smiley is handy....
